Dad works in the website marketing world, loves composing music, editing videos and hanging out with his family. Mom is a teacher by profession but does what ever she can around the homeschool schedule to earn extra (professional housekeeping, web design, tutoring, and other home-businesses) enjoys reading, drawing, sewing, and animals. 
Little Sister is 8 years old, loves to express herself through music and art, hanging out with her puppy, and bossing her brothers.
Middle-son is 11 years old, loves Legos, using his imagination and playing with others. His favorite subject....did anyone say play!
Eldest-son is a big 14 year old young man, loves computers and being around his friends. His favorite subjects are history (particularly WWII)and math.
When we chose to homeschool our children back in 1998, we chose a lifestyle. This lifestyle has been very different from the standard life of most. We want to give our children a strong foundation to approaching life; to learning for a life time. Every part of life is education. Daily, routine activities become the life lessons we expound on and create learning environments for our children. While we have a "core structure" for our day which includes textbooks, drill, and other standard school-work, we are very open to life events to color our curriculum. Most vacations are a part of our educational process, from camping, to visiting the beach, to traveling across the United States (that’s the plan for next summer!) The goal? A memorable experience where my children get the joy of learning, the life skills for success, a Spiritual foundation, and a sense of who they are and why they are here. Now, in 2008, we have an eighth grader, a fifth grader, and a third grader. Life is changing in ways you expect but don’t really understand until it comes! Those of you with growing children will identify. Will we homeschool through high school? We’ll see. Our PurposeIt is the purpose of this website to assist you in your journey by leading you one babystep at a time until you are satisfied with the educational lifestyle you have chosen for your family based on your values, goals, and your passions.We are here to guide you through the homeschool process.
